A universal fit gun scope protector. Modeled in Rhino 5, printed on a Form2 printer in flexible resin in 3 parts and epoxied together with metal dowels.
Adjustable knife product prototypes. Bottom being the first one printed, an example of working through different variations based on client input and success of previous versions. The top shows 3 finished, functional prototypes. Materials used were ABS plastic and Form's grey resin.
Multi axis underpinnings to a larger product. The toughest part of this was developing a functional, locking ball joint(seen closer below) which could be 3D printed and still able to hold the weight of each section up. After a few test joints, the final used an entirely ABS construction, minus Form's polypropylene- like resin for the screws themselves to help grip the inner joint.
